How to read the parents’ health tests

A verified test means the breeder uploaded the document with the result and we checked it. Ask for the document with an unverified test; “no tests” does not mean an unhealthy dog, only that we have no data about its health.

Before you choose

A good breeder is not afraid of these questions. More often than not, they will ask you similar ones first.

    May I see the mother?

    Choose a puppy where it grows up. You should see the mother in person — her temperament, not just a photo.

    Do you have the test documents?

    A result typed on a profile is not enough. Ask for the laboratory or veterinary document — always with an unverified test.

    Will we sign a purchase contract?

    A written contract protects you, the puppy and the breeder. Read it in advance, not on handover day.

  4. 04

    What does the puppy come with?

    At handover it should be dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped and with a pet passport.
