Welsh Corgi Cardigan

Welsh Corgi Cardigan

The Welsh Corgi Cardigan is one of the oldest herding breeds from Wales, with a history dating back over a thousand years, where it was used to drive cattle and guard farms thanks to its intelligence, endurance, and low, agile body that allowed it to avoid kicks from livestock. Unlike its Pembroke cousin, the Cardigan has a long tail and a more reserved, thoughtful temperament. Today, the Welsh Corgi Cardigan is a loyal, intelligent, and adaptable companion that enjoys training and mental challenges, does well in family environments, and balances an active working spirit with a calm and affectionate nature at home.
