Norfolk Terrier
The Norfolk Terrier originates from Norfolk County in England, where during the 19th century it was developed as a small yet fearless ratting dog in barns and warehouses. It sports a dense, wiry coat in shades of wheaten or reddish and has a sturdy, low-slung build. Originally valued for its tenacity, agility, and courage, today’s Norfolk Terrier is a friendly, intelligent, and sociable companion that requires consistent yet gentle training, regular exercise, and mental stimulation.
