Fox Terrier Wire

Fox Terrier Wire

The Wire Fox Terrier originated in England in the 19th century, bred to hunt foxes and vermin in challenging terrain. Its dense, wiry coat—predominantly white with black and tan markings—offers protection against harsh weather. Originally valued for its courage, speed, and endurance while working both above and below ground, today’s Wire Fox Terrier is an energetic and intelligent companion. It requires consistent training, regular physical and mental exercise, and proper socialization. Loyal and playful with its family, it may be wary of strangers but is not typically aggressive.
