English Toy Terrier

English Toy Terrier

The English Toy Terrier originated in England in the late 19th century, developed from smaller versions of the black-and-tan Fox Terrier to serve as a companion to the London aristocracy. It was also used for ratting in urban areas, giving it a bold and keen nature. Today, it is a small, elegant, and energetic dog with a smooth, glossy coat, requiring consistent yet gentle training. Loyal to its family and well-suited for both apartment and family living, it still needs regular walks and mental stimulation.
