Boston Terrier

Boston Terrier

The Boston Terrier originated in the United States in the late 19th century, developed by crossing English Bulldogs and various terrier breeds for pit fighting in the Boston area. Initially used for entertainment in fighting pits, it was soon refined for its gentle temperament and stylish appearance. The breed features a compact, muscular build, a short smooth coat in the classic “tuxedo” pattern of black and white, and a distinctive friendly expression. Today’s Boston Terrier is a friendly, intelligent, and adaptable family companion requiring moderate daily exercise, consistent socialization, and gentle, positive training.
