Australian Silky Terrier

Australian Silky Terrier

The Australian Silky Terrier originated in Australia in the late 19th century from crosses between the Yorkshire Terrier and local Australian terriers. Initially bred for ratting on farms and as a family companion, it features a small, sturdy build and a long, silky coat of steel-blue and tan. Energetic, intelligent, and sprightly, the Australian Silky Terrier requires consistent yet gentle training, daily exercise, and regular coat maintenance to stay happy and healthy.
